Your files never leave your device. Smart Batch Processor Pro is a 100% offline, local-processing application. We do not upload, transmit, collect, or store any of your files, images, or data on any server — ever. All file processing (EXIF stripping, renaming, copying) happens entirely on your local machine.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Let us be crystal clear about what we do not do:

We do not collect, access, or transmit your files or images
We do not collect your personal information (name, email, address)
We do not track your usage behavior or analytics
We do not use cookies, trackers, or advertising identifiers
We do not send any data to third-party services
We do not have any cloud connectivity or remote servers
We do not access your camera, microphone, location, or contacts

3. How the App Works

Smart Batch Processor Pro operates entirely offline:

File Input: You add files via drag-and-drop or file/folder picker dialogs. These files are read from your local filesystem only.
Processing: EXIF metadata stripping, file renaming, and file copying all occur locally on your CPU using multithreaded processing.
File Output: Processed files are saved to an output folder that you choose on your local machine.
No Network: The application makes zero network requests during operation.

4. Microsoft Store Data

The App is distributed through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft may collect standard information related to your purchase and app installation (such as your Microsoft account details and transaction records) as part of their Store services. This data collection is governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement, not ours.

5. EXIF Data Handling

The core function of this app is to remove metadata (EXIF, IPTC, XMP profiles) from image files. This includes GPS coordinates, timestamps, camera information, and other embedded metadata. The stripping process:

Reads the original file from your local disk
Nullifies the metadata profiles in memory
Saves a clean copy to your chosen output folder
Never transmits the original or cleaned data anywhere

6. Children's Privacy

Smart Batch Processor Pro is a general-purpose file utility tool. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age, as we do not collect any personal information from any users.

7. Data Security

Since all processing occurs locally on your device and no data is transmitted over the internet, there are no data security risks associated with our software beyond your own device security. We recommend keeping your operating system and antivirus software up to date.

8. Third-Party Libraries

The App uses the following open-source libraries for local processing only:

SixLabors.ImageSharp — For local image parsing and EXIF metadata removal
.NET MAUI — For the native Windows user interface

None of these libraries transmit data externally.
