Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Smart Batch Processor Pro: File & EXIF Manager ("the App") developed and published by LEDO-TECH ("we", "us", or "our").

By purchasing, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License Grant

Upon purchase through the Microsoft Store, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Windows devices associated with your Microsoft account, in accordance with the Microsoft Store's licensing terms.

This is a one-time purchase license — no recurring fees or subscriptions.
You may install the App on multiple Windows devices linked to your Microsoft account, as permitted by the Microsoft Store.
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the App to third parties.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You shall not use the App to:

Process files that you do not have the legal right to access, modify, or distribute
Remove metadata from files for the purpose of concealing the origin of copyrighted or stolen content
Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the App's source code

3. File Processing & Your Responsibility

The App processes files locally on your device. You are solely responsible for:

Maintaining backups of your original files before processing
Verifying that the processed output meets your requirements
Ensuring you have the legal right to process the files you input
Choosing appropriate output folders and managing disk space

While the App is designed to be non-destructive (it creates copies rather than modifying originals), we strongly recommend keeping backups of important files.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, branding, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of LEDO-TECH and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

The "Smart Batch Processor Pro" name and LEDO-TECH branding are our property.
You may not use our branding, name, or logos without prior written consent.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of file processing results

We strive to deliver a high-quality, reliable product, but software inherently involves risk. Use the App at your own discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LEDO-TECH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data or files
Loss of profits or revenue
Business interruption
Damage to computer systems or data

Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App ($4.99).

7. Updates and Modifications

We may release updates to the App from time to time through the Microsoft Store. These updates may include bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features. While we aim to always improve the App, we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features without prior notice.

8. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the Microsoft Store in accordance with their refund policy. Please refer to Microsoft's refund policy for details.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and uninstall the App. Sections regarding Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, and Limitation of Liability shall survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through appropriate legal proceedings.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via app updates or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
